Shipping, Packaging, and Delivery Requirements
Custom Woodworks for our clients in Michigan and Northern Ohio will be delivered directly by us and do not require a shipping service.
Online Orders for Design-Ready Furniture:
- Free standard shipping is included on all orders (contiguous 48 states). White Glove Delivery Service is optional and can be selected at checkout for an additional fee.
- Online Orders for Local Delivery (where available) will be delivered directly by us and does not require a shipping service.
- Online design-ready product listings will confirm if furniture is shipped assembled or disassembled, whichever is ideal to ensure safest delivery. Every disassembled order includes all necessary hardware and step-by-step assembly instructions.
- We ship to residential and commercial addresses only (no P.O. Boxes). Someone must be available to receive and inspect the shipment upon delivery. Each order is carefully packaged and shipped via private shipper.
Product Expectations
All of our furniture is handcrafted from real hardwoods. Because wood is a natural material, each piece will vary in color, grain, and texture. Small cracks, knots, or minor movement may occur due to humidity or temperature changes. These are not defects, but part of the unique character of your handcrafted piece. We may fill knots or voids with epoxy at our discretion to ensure strength and durability.
We recommend maintaining indoor humidity between 40–60% and avoiding excessive heat, dryness, dampness, or prolonged direct sunlight to minimize cracking or movement. Due to the nature of natural wood, final products will not appear exactly as pictured online. Variations in tone, grain, and natural imperfections make every piece one of a kind.
Lead Times & Payment Terms
Our Current Lead Times
Custom Builds:
- As quoted in project invoice upon receipt of 50% deposit.
Online Orders:
- Dining and Coffee Tables: Ships within 6-12 weeks upon receipt of order.
- Floating Shelves: Ships within 2-4 weeks upon receipt of order.
Payment Terms - Full payment is required at the time of all online orders through our secure checkout system. Because every order is custom-built, production begins once payment has been received and processed.
Returns & Customer Satisfaction - We do not accept returns or exchanges due to the custom nature of every project. Any issues or damages as a result of workmanship will be repaired, replaced, or refunded.
Changes, Cancellations, or Delays - Once production begins, design changes cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional costs. Delays caused by weather, materials, or third-party carriers are outside our control and do not constitute a breach of agreement.

Ownership & Intellectual Property
All Cap’s Artistry designs, photos, and creative concepts remain our intellectual property. Unauthorized reproduction, use, or duplication is strictly prohibited.
