The Maddox | Modern Cherry Hardwood Coffee Table

Where Warm Hardwood Meets Modern Steel.

The Maddox is built around a simple idea: let great materials do the talking.

A substantial solid Cherry top brings natural warmth and character, while black powder-coated steel legs create a clean contrast and modern profile. The result is a coffee table that makes a statement without overpowering the room.

Each Maddox is handcrafted in our Howell, Michigan workshop from real American hardwood. Cherry's naturally warm tones and fine grain will gradually deepen and become richer with exposure to light, allowing the table to develop even more character over time.

No veneer. No manufactured wood. Just solid Cherry and American steel, handcrafted into a table designed for everyday life.

Design-Ready, Without the Custom Furniture Process

The Maddox gives you the materials and craftsmanship of our custom furniture without starting the design process from scratch.

We've already worked through the proportions, materials, and overall design. Simply place your order and we'll build yours in our Michigan shop.

Production time: Approximately 6–12 weeks before shipping.

Built for Real Life

The Maddox isn't designed to simply look good in a photograph. It's built to become part of your everyday living space.

The solid hardwood top is protected with a durable matte finish that allows the natural character of the Cherry to remain the focal point while providing protection from everyday use.

Its powder-coated steel base provides substantial support while keeping the design visually open and uncluttered.

Our Guarantee

Your table should arrive exactly as it should. If it arrives damaged or you experience a workmanship issue, we'll make it right through repair, replacement, or refund.

Made by Us, Not a Factory

Cap's Artistry is a family-owned furniture shop in Howell, Michigan. The same hands that build our custom dining tables, conference tables, and commercial furniture build every design-ready coffee table we ship.

Because The Maddox is built from real Cherry, natural variation in grain, color, and character is expected. Cherry will also gradually deepen in color as it's exposed to light.

Your table won't be an identical copy pulled from a warehouse. It will be built specifically for your order from real hardwood.
