The Rowan | Minimalist Solid Hardwood Coffee Table

One Clean Design. Your Choice of Hardwood.

The Rowan strips a coffee table down to what matters: beautiful hardwood, clean proportions, and a simple design that lets the material become the focal point.

Handcrafted in our Howell, Michigan workshop, The Rowan pairs a solid hardwood top with matching hardwood legs for a warm, minimalist look without visible metal or unnecessary detail.

Choose the wood that fits your space—from the warmth of Cherry and lighter character of Ash to the natural contrast of Spalted Maple or rich tones of Walnut. Whichever you choose, the natural grain and variation of the hardwood make every Rowan distinctly its own.

No veneer. No manufactured wood. Just real hardwood, handcrafted into a simple piece designed to let the material speak for itself.

Choose Your Hardwood

Because species selection is such an important part of this particular product, I would actually add this short section. It helps a customer who's looking at four buttons and thinking, What's the difference?

Cherry — Warm, refined grain that gradually develops deeper reddish-brown tones with exposure to light.

Ash — Naturally lighter in color with prominent, flowing grain for a bright and modern appearance.

Spalted Maple — Distinctive natural lines and dramatic variation make every top especially unique.

Walnut — Rich brown tones and flowing grain for a darker, more dramatic appearance.

Design-Ready, Without the Custom Furniture Process

The Rowan gives you the materials and craftsmanship of our custom furniture without starting the design process from scratch.

We've already worked through the proportions and overall design. Simply choose your hardwood, place your order, and we'll build yours in our Michigan shop.

Production time: Approximately 6–12 weeks before shipping.

Built for Real Life

The Rowan's minimalist appearance doesn't mean lightweight construction. It's built from solid hardwood and protected with a durable matte finish designed to showcase the natural grain while standing up to everyday use.

The all-wood construction keeps the design warm and understated, allowing The Rowan to work in a room without demanding all of the attention.

Our Guarantee

Your table should arrive exactly as it should. If it arrives damaged or you experience a workmanship issue, we'll make it right through repair, replacement, or refund.

Made by Us, Not a Factory

Cap's Artistry is a family-owned furniture shop in Howell, Michigan. The same hands that build our custom dining tables, conference tables, and commercial furniture build every design-ready coffee table we ship.

Real hardwood naturally varies in grain, tone, color, and character. Those differences are especially noticeable across the four species offered for The Rowan.

Your table won't be an identical copy pulled from a warehouse. It will be built specifically for your order from the hardwood you select.
